The Center for Women, Gender, and Global Leadership Salutes Women Veterans

On this Veteran's Day, we honor the service of our veterans and their sacrifices to protect our country. We are thankful for all our veterans who have given so much for the liberty of our people. It is their courage that has upheld our liberty, and we cannot express enough gratitude for their actions. We would especially like to honor the women who have served in the US military and what they have endured for the price of our freedom. Nothing they have done has come without sacrifice and their courage of service must be remembered always. The Center for Women, Gender, and Global Leadership at Howard University expresses our gratitude for women veterans and their selflessness to protect the freedoms of our country.
