Howard University is committed to acting for gender equality and fulfilling the HeForShe initiative on campus and the community.

HeForShe is a solidarity campaign for the advancement of gender equality initiated by the United Nations. Howard University is committed to acting for gender equality and fulfilling the HeForShe initiative on campus and the community.

Every year, the Center for Women, Gender and Global Leadership appoints undergraduate and graduate male students who are willing to serve as ambassadors for the HeForShe campaign at HU.

As ambassadors, students will help the Center in its mission of raising awareness about gender equality on campus and in the community. The ambassadors are expected to engage as many men and boys as possible at HU and in the community to commit to HeForShe.
