The minor brings feminist and queer theory in conversation with research in the humanities, social sciences, liberal arts, and natural sciences through courses offered across the four academic divisions of the College in conjunction with other units across the university.

The second pillar of the Center's work focuses on preparing our students to be the leaders that this moment requires. We build leadership pipelines that prepare Howard women and gender-expansive students for a world reshaped by technology, shifting labor markets, and political change. Our programs combine skill-building, ethical reasoning, community wellness, and the confidence to lead in spaces that have long excluded Black women.
